Welcome to the Department of Surgery at Synergy Medical Education Alliance in Saginaw, Michigan.  Serving the surgical needs of the region for over 40 years, each of our Board Certified surgeons will provide you with the most compassionate and skilled care possible.  This site will describe our department and important patient information regarding a number of surgical disease processes, as well as our deep involvement in surgical education and clinical research.

Our Department of Surgery provides comprehensive surgical consultation and performs state-of-the-art procedures within the fields of  minimally invasive surgery and laparoscopy, as well as complex general surgery.  Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, we are a resource to the Great Lakes Bay Region and surrounding communities, working in conjunction with our referring partners to deliver the best possible service to our patients.  Our surgeons care for patients at Covenant HealthCare and St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw and will be deeply committed to you every step of the way: before, during, and after surgery.

Another top priority is to ensure the highest level of educational experiences for medical students, surgical residents, and community doctors. Our residency program  is fully accredited by the national Graduate Medical Education Committee, and is able to attract some of the best and brightest minds from surrounding medical schools for training.  Our residency graduates are some of the most well-trained surgeons in the state, and have garnered the highest levels of achievement.  We believe this educational commitment furthers our dedicated mission to providing the highest level of care possible to our patients.
